Women's Ministry

Welcome to our Women's Ministry

There is a place for you!

The purpose of our Women's Ministry is to connect women to women and ultimately draw them to the heart of God.

We are sisters here, God designed us to need each other and to minister to one another along this journey of life. We aim to provide opportunity for:

Fellowship -         to build meaningful relationships

Bible Study -        to help us grow in our walk with Christ. Coming nearer

                                    to the heart of God.

Outreach -            opportunity for practical, friendly ways we can reach

                                    those who don't know Christ.

Special Events -  retreats and conferences which provide wonderful

connections with other women as well as deeper

                                    spiritual growth.

If you would like to get involved in our women's ministries or have any questions on the following events, feel free to contact the church at 715-483-1100.   We look forward to seeing you get connected with other women and ultimately drawn nearer to the heart of God.

Women's Bible Studies

Our women's ministry invites women of all ages and all seasons of life to join us for a life changing study. Whether you're a new Christian just beginning your walk of faith or have been walking deeply with Christ for years, this study will result in a living, fresh and active faith!

There are several different women's Bible studies available to choose from:

Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories by Beth Moore leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, this in-depth Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today's believers. Beth uses Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small. She explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. Breaking Free is Beth's life message that she wants to share with you.

On this journey you will experience the ups and downs of the shepherd king, and you will come to know and love his God in a new way. Prayer Showers for Expectant Moms

Please be involved in Alliance Church of the Valley’s

Prayer Shower Ministry.

Consider the impact:

  •         Having a Baby is One of Life’s Biggest Events.  So when we, as women of the  Alliance Church of the Valley gather to support in prayer that new mother and that  little life, we are speaking volumes about how much we care for each other and for the future of our church.

  •        The  Power of Prayer.  As we pray for the physical and spiritual development of the baby, his or her character and personality, etc. remind yourself of the potential impact that that little one may have for the Lord or that one day, he or she may grow up to be best friends with (or even marry!) your son or daughter.

  •         The Value of a Support System.  Prayer Showers are the ideal time to get  together and talk of the joys and challenges of motherhood.  It is an especially rewarding time if ‘veteran’ moms are there to share the wisdom that comes from experience.  Some of the moms we pray for may not have that type of support system yet at this critical time in their lives.  Let’s be there for them!

The Prayer Shower Ministry is a low-key, informal time for women to gather in a home, and be reminded of the preciousness of both life and of friendships. Gifts are not given.
