DESCRIPTION:Sign up and invite your friends to our annual Middle School Fal
l Retreat. This year\, we are going big and doing a retreat in a way you h
ave yet to see. We will have a great speaker\, tons of fun\, interactions
with Jesus\, and an overall unforgettable weekend.\nWhat is the cost?\nThe
cost of the retreat this year is $135\, and that covers all the food\, ro
om\, and fun the students are going to have at the retreat center. You wil
l need cash for lunch on Sunday and optional snacks at the retreat center.
Please DO NOT let finances stand in the way of you attending this retreat
! We have scholarships and donations available for any student who can't a
fford to go. Also\, don't be embarrassed to ask Pastor Glen for a scholars
hip\; his family wouldn't have been able to afford the trip when he was in
middle school\, so he was no stranger to asking for scholarships.\nWhen a
nd where is the retreat? \nThe Retreat is at Silver Birch Ranch\, which i
s quite the hike from ACV. We'll have to leave ACV at 3 pm on October 30th
to make it on time for the weekend\, and we'll return around 4 pm on Nove
mber 1st. This means you may have to pull your kids out of school slightly
early to come. I'm sure they'll be really bummed about that one!\nWho's i
 t for?\nAny middle schooler who attends ACV\, their friends\, or any 6th-8
th grader in the area who wants to attend is welcome to register. The retr
eat is put on by the Western Great Lakes District of the Christian and Mis
sionary Alliance\, which our church is a part of.\nWhen do I need to regis
ter?\nRegistration will close on October 21st. Please ensure you are regis
tered before that\, or you will not be able to attend!\nWhat to pack?\nThe
pack list is attached below under "Downloads"
